Forum Background
China's industrialization, urbanization and aging are in a key period of rapid development on an unprecedented scale. The grim reality is that, Chinese enterprises and their employees are generally not good at managing their own physical and mental health issues, which creates more risk for the enterprises while they are working to survive and prosper in an increasingly competitive market. Facing this endless crisis and overwhelming risks, it is high time to develop and implement stronger Integrated health risk management programs [both physical and mental].
The objective of the 2011 International Health Risk Management Forum is to address these challenges with noted experts and to dialogue among industry participants. The Forum will:
1. Faced with the fierce competition and rapidly changing market, what can enterprises do to deal with the high pressure condition?
2. How do you establish an effective health risk management program in order to improve both HRs and the employees’ satisfaction?
Valurise believes that health is the wealth and capital of people, it should be managed scientifically. Everyone should strive to protect and enhance their overall health by a variety of proven/effective means.
For the ongoing reforms to be successful in China, it will be essential that employee satisfaction and efficiency be maximized by accelerating the awareness and practice of health risk management programs for Chinese enterprises. Successful implementation of these programs will bring enterprises huge economic benefits.
Under the guidance of this idea, research and development on how to implement the innovative practice model, Health Risk Management + Health Insurance, to maximize the synergies between health risk management and health insurance, will help employees understand, and then better manage, their health condition and the potential health risks. By helping to adjust the psychological state of policyholders and to improve their living habits and behavior patterns, we will reap the benefits of also greatly reducing the claim risk of the insurance companies. Integrated health risk management on the workforce will not only increase productivity but also resolve a fundamental contradiction between supply and demand on the medical market as well. And ultimately enable the health insurance industry to flourish and to actively promote the development of health insurance in the multi-level medical security system in China.

China National Convention Center (CNCC) has opened officially in October 2009 for its originally intended function – providing international standard, purpose-built convention and exhibition facilities.
The Center was an important element in the overall plan for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games when it served as the main press center and international broadcasting location as well as providing the venue for fencing and pistol shooting competitions.? CNCC is ideally located in the heart of the Olympic Green adjacent to the National Stadium (Bird Nest), the National Aquatics Center (Water Cube) and the National Indoor Stadium – all of which are proving popular places for people to visit in post Olympic Games times.
